Mission

The BIPOC Nature Network was created to reconnect ourselves to the land and the earth. Centuries of colonialism and capitalism have intentionally separated People of Color from their ancestral roots. We seek to empower BIPOC communities in reconnecting with nature through trails and outdoor recreation.

We are seeking ways to contribute to ongoing efforts while expanding opportunities for advocacy and strengthening networks for greater awareness. We strive to create a diverse and welcoming environment where all individuals can safely enjoy and contribute to the natural world. The BIPOC Nature Network acknowledges the work and labor of a wide range of people and organizations. We believe that our strength is contributing to ongoing efforts and continually connecting coalitions.
